Kyrosos
Kyrosos is a coastal country of sun-bleached marble and rough peninsulas. It is a skeletal vestige of a fallen empire, with the southern scattered islands it once owned now claimed & controlled by Saalzych.
The remnants of an ancient & sophisticated past loom over a gritty, feudalistic present.
The land is defined by its limestone mountains that touch the turquoise sea. There is little flat ground: the valleys are small and isolated.
Its ancient ruins of weathered columns and collapsed theaters are now repurposed as the base for simple stone hovels or livestock pens.
Kyrosos's bloody past doesn't stop Kyrosans from living their best lives. The ports are a force of lively culture and the people are in tune with the rhythm of music, the gods, and the natural world. Kyrosans are not without an advanced defense around their cities, and the ruling class speak fervently on behalf of their people.
The country isn't without an occasional knoll attack, and the humans know to stay away from the giant settlements in the northwest.
Kyrosans primarily speak the language Iklomas. Many of them would be familiar with Faervig, Rhonic, and Spiacian.
